Mattresses & Foundations – 90 NIGHT TRIAL GUARANTEE

Buying and using a new mattress is just like buying and using a new pair of shoes. Just like you’d want to break in those new shoes before you run a marathon, you and your new mattress will need time to acclimate and become familiar.  A mattress needs time to adjust to your body, so we’re offering you this trial period to make sure every night’s sleep is exactly how you dreamed it.

Here are a few key ways to break in your mattress during your 90 NIGHT TRIAL GUARANTEE to ensure it’s perfect:

Breathing Time: The mattress has been sealed in a plastic bag for some time. Give it a few hours to settle and breath before covering with bedding.

Pressure Please: Your mattress was manufactured, tested, packaged, and then stored until you’ve decide to welcome it into your home. Just like our body’s get stiff from lack of use so will the mattress. Try rolling around on it gently or using your hands and feet to apply some pressure to loosen it up.

Heat Things Up:  Memory foam mattresses are very reactive to ambient temperature. Extreme storage and delivery temperatures can cause an initial firmness variance compared to what you experienced on the show room floor.  Allowing adequate time for the Mattress to acclimate to your room temperature will dramatically change the firmness. Yes, this alone could take a couple of days. 

Patience:  Learning to sleep on a new mattress after a long painful experience with a prior mattress isn’t always as easy as it sounds. It can take time for your body to adjust the change in pressure points. The average time frame is around a month. Try to sleep on the new mattress every night so your mattress can get to know you and your body and get to know the new mattress.

 

90 NIGHT TRIAL GUARANTEE DETAILS Your new mattress will take time to adjust to your body, and you should sleep on it for a minimum of 30 nights to allow for this adjustment period. However, in the event that you are not comfortable within 90 nights from your original mattress’s delivery date, we will do our best to match you to the right mattress. You may exchange or return your mattress with a redelivery fee of $99*. Jacob’s Home Furnishings is unable to exchange or refund any mattress that is stained, made unsanitary or otherwise damaged by you under the 90 Night Trial Guarantee. Do not remove the law tag from the mattress or foundation; removing the law tag will void 90 Night Trial Guarantee. Subject to the above restrictions, our 90 Night Trial Guarantee is valid for up to 2 exchanges, or one return which must occur during the 90-day period from the original mattress delivery date. Please note that our 90 Night Trial Guarantee is not valid on warranty exchanges, clearance merchandise, floor models, pillows, mattress protectors, power/adjustable bases, furniture or other accessories.

Motion Furniture & Upholstered Furniture Returns/Exchanges –

We understand that sometimes that perfect piece just doesn’t work out like you had hoped when the item makes it into the space. Sometime circumstances arise and just unable to move forward with a purchase. We have a plan to help everyone the best that we’re able to.  Please note that Jacob’s Home Furnishings is unable to exchange or refund any item that is stained, made unsanitary or otherwise damaged. Motion furniture & upholstered furniture returns & exchanges not related to warranty claims will be processed as follows:

Clearance & Floor Model Markdown: Clearance & Floor Model Markdown Merchandise sales are final. No refunds or exchanges there are no refunds or exchanges unless delivery related damage has been noted at the time of delivery.

Safety Concern: Often a gift is purchased for a love one and they are unable to safely use the furniture piece. (Ex: Swivel Recliners) notification is required within 30 days from delivery. We will gladly exchange or issue a refund. There is a $45* Redelivery/Pickup Charge and because the item can no longer be sold as new or with a warranty there is a 20% restocking fee.

Expectations: If your just not pleased notify us within 30 days from delivery. We will gladly exchange or issue a refund. There is a $45* Redelivery/Pickup Charge and because the item can no longer be sold as new or with a warranty there is a 20% restocking fee.

Doesn’t Fit: Sometimes you just miss measure. There is a $45* Redelivery/Pickup Charge and because the item can no longer be sold as new or with a warranty there is a 20% restocking fee.

Cancel Order before delivery: If delivery was not attempted.  We will gladly issue a full refund.

Clearance Merchandise Returns/Exchanges –

All sales on clearance merchandise are final. No refunds or exchanges unless delivery related damage has been noted at the time of delivery.

 

Case Goods and Furnishings –

Jacob’s Home Furnishings is unable to exchange or refund any item that is stained, made unsanitary or otherwise damaged. There is a $45* Redelivery/Pickup Charge and because the item can no longer be sold as new or with a warranty there is a 20% restocking fee.

Custom Order Returns/Exchanges –

Custom orders will not be exchanged. Refunds will be issued if the customers cancellation request was timely enough to cancel the order with the manufacturer before incurring any cost. This time varies, and Jacobs Home Furnishings has no control of this time frame. Items that meet this requirement will be indicated as CUSTOM on the sales Ticket.

 

Refund Transactions

Refunds will only be issued to the original card on which the purchase was initially made, or a check will be issued for the refund amount for any other forms of original payment.
